How the Small Moves program works

The Small Moves program starts when you call or email us with a list of the items you want to move, along with the origin and destination address. We will return you a guaranteed price for those items. There is no need to have someone come to your home for an estimate or have your shipment weighed...the price remains the same as long as you are shipping the items you include on your list.

On your moving day, we will send out the same professionally-trained team of movers that we send on our biggest, most complicated moves. Just like with big moves, you can pack yourself, or use our professional packers. When our team arrives for your Small Moves relocation, they will professionally protect your home, properly wrap and cushion all furniture and carefully load your items into special moving containers. Your container has only your items in it, and no one elses. It can even be placed into storage for a time inside the container, avoiding the need for handling your items multiple times, which could expose them to damage.

When you are ready, your container is delivered to your local Unigroup agent via a freight carrier instead of a huge moving van. From there, you will be professionally unloaded by one of our sister Unigroup moving companies.
