Mechanic

Fleet Mechanic with heavy equipment experience needed.

  • Must have your own tools
  • Valid driver’s license – CDL preferred
  • State Inspection Certified preferred
  • Able to maintain fleet of trucks, trailers and fork lifts - experience required
  • Self-motivated, skilled, dependable and reliable
  • Diagnose and repair any problems with our equipment
  • You’ll be working on everything from small engines to heavy equipment
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with others

Movers & Packers

Due to our continued growth, Diggins & ROSE Inc Hudson/Manchester NH is hiring Movers & Packers full and part time as well as seasonal for our busy household goods moving and storage company.

Movers will be moving household goods, boxes, furniture and equipment as assigned by your supervisor.  You will load and unload these items into trailers which transport these goods from point A to point B.  Once at point B you will unload these goods into our customer’s residence or office environment.  Care must be taken to maintain the quality of the goods you are transporting.  Work days are Monday – Saturday.  No Sundays.

  • Treating these goods as if they were your own is required.
  • Moving items in a safe way is also required for your safety.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check are required for employment
  • You must be hardworking, responsible and motivated to do your job well.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
  • You should be in good physical condition and able to lift heavy items repeatedly. As summer and fall are our busy seasons.
  • For full time employees we offer medical, dental and vision insurance as well as vacations and holidays. You will be working with the best of the best in the moving industry.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is not required but would be a plus.

 

Packers will be packing or unpacking breakable items, linens, lamps, shades into or out of moving cartons.  Properly packing moving containers ensures that items are transported safely.  Work days are Monday – Saturday.  No Sundays.

Owner Operator

Drive for United Van Lines (the largest family mover) and with the best-of-the-best, while enjoying working in a professional environment. Our customers are our # 1 priority. Haul our 53' x 102" trailer, travel coast-to-coast, up-and-down the eastern seaboard or short haul. We have an immediate opening for two (2) Household Goods Owner Operators.

We pay weekly. You must have a newer tractor (tandem) with air-ride suspension and have a minimum of three (3) years of Household Goods moving experience, with an excellent driving and claims record. You must pass a mandatory "Pre Employment" drug test and pass a criminal background check.

Or, work on commission using our tractor and trailer hauling radial or long distance.

Rating & Billing

Rating & Billing Clerk, Customer Service Advisor needed for fast paced office.

Applicants must be good with numbers and have experience performing accounting work and great communicating skills with customers.

We are looking for a "FULL TIME” and experienced team member with the ability to calculate figures, discounts, commissions and percentages accurately.

You will be creating rating paperwork and calculating commissions and interacting with our customers and vendors.

Applicant must be a “real team” player and have excellent organizational skills to manage a variety of different tasks with confidence.

Hours are 8 AM -5 PM M – F, I hour lunch - unpaid from Noon to 1 pm daily, 5 day work week, no weekends. Benefits: Vacations, 401-K, paid holidays, paid vacations, health Insurance, dental, eye, etc.

Truck Driver - Non-CDL

Non-CDL Drivers needed for a busy local mover. You will be driving a straight truck.

Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background and a drug test required. Current medical card preferred.

Ability to load and unload a shipper's household goods with care during your custody and control. Limit claims to the company through proper training and prior experience.
